If the back of your duplicator has a silver sticker with the Letter "A" in a circle. This article is for you. Otherwise please refer to our other articles.
If you are experiencing high failure rates when attempting to duplicate a disc, please try the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
- Confirm that the burn speeds are set to our recommended values.
- Please scroll down to option #11 (setup) from the main menu of your LCD display and press “ENT”
- You will see 11-1 “Setup Language”
- Press the down arrow once and 11-2 “Setup CD Burn Speed” will appear. Press “ENT”
- Adjust the burn speeds for each disc type to our recommended values.
NOTE: You will have to press the DOWN arrow to reach each media disc type's configuration.

CD: 24x
Audio CD: 24x
DVD: 8x / Blu-ray 2x
- Press "ENT" after adjusting each setting to save the changes
- Confirm that the read speeds are set to our recommended values.
- Please scroll down to option #11 (setup) from the main menu of your LCD display and press “ENT”
- You will see 11-1 “language”
- Press the down arrow four times and 11-5 “read speed” will appear. Press “ENT”
- Adjust the read speed to our recommend setting: 8x
- Press "ENT" to save the setting after making the adjustment
- Avoid using lower quality blank media. Through our extensive in-house testing, we found that certain brands had a higher chance of successful copies. We recommend the following brands: Philips, Sony, Maxell, Verbatim, Ritek/Ridata, Sonik, LG & Taiyo Yuden
- If attempting steps 1-3 do not resolve the issue, updating the firmware may help. Please contact our technical support team to see if an update is available.
