Different disc formats

While assembling our duplicators, we run many tests and have found a couple of things: 

• DVD-R provides better compatibility with reading and duplicating on the machines

• DVD-R's compatibility is higher with DVD players than DVD+R

• We would recommend to avoid using any sort of RW disc (DVD+RW/DVD-RW, CD+RW/CD-RW). Re-writable discs are harder to maintain as they must be kept in very clean condition to be reused again and again

• DVD+R DL seems to be easier to burn on duplicators and to read on DVD players
